About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and strategic FP&A Manager to join a growing manufacturing organization. This newly created leadership role will play a critical part in driving financial planning, forecasting, business performance analysis, and decision support across the organization.
The ideal candidate combines strong manufacturing finance expertise with hands-on analytical capabilities and a proven ability to lead teams. This position offers the opportunity to influence strategic decisions, improve financial processes, and help shape the future of the finance function during a period of operational transformation.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a small team of financial analysts and accounting professionals.

Own the annual budgeting process and quarterly rolling forecasts.

Lead capital expenditure planning, analysis, and reporting.

Partner with operational and business leaders to understand key drivers of cost, profitability, and performance.

Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Prepare and present product line profitability analyses, including variance explanations against forecast and prior periods.

Identify and implement process improvements, controls, and reporting enhancements.

Support ongoing ERP and financial planning system initiatives.

Develop and enhance management reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics.

Perform ad hoc financial analyses, modeling, and special projects as required.
Qualifications
Required
-
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

5+ years of FP&A experience within a manufacturing environment.

2+ years of people management experience.

Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, cost accounting, and profitability drivers.

Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.

Experience working directly with large datasets and translating data into business insights.

Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership.

Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Experience working with ERP systems.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred

Experience supporting organizations undergoing system implementations or process transformation.

Experience operating in environments that are not fully automated.

Ability to build structure, processes, and reporting frameworks in evolving organizations.

Experience creating dashboards, KPIs, and advanced reporting models.
