Location: Remote ET Hours
Duration: Initial 6 Month Contract
Compensation: $41-$48/HR

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Reporting Dashboard Engineer to support complex reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives within Financial Services and Global Banking. This role will design and enhance enterprise reporting solutions that support business intelligence, regulatory requirements, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
  • Build and optimize data models, semantic layers, and reporting datasets.
  • Perform advanced SQL development, data analysis, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
  • Support ETL/ELT processes and integration across multiple data sources.
  • Develop KPIs, metrics, scorecards, and executive-level dashboards.
  • Implement data quality controls and reporting governance standards.
  • Troubleshoot reporting and data discrepancies through root-cause analysis.
  • Support testing, implementation, and production deployment.

Required Qualifications

  • 6 years of experience in BI reporting, analytics, dashboard development, or data engineering.
  • Advanced SQL skills with large, complex datasets.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
  • Experience with dimensional data modeling, data warehousing, and star/snowflake schemas.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT and data integration processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Preferred Experience

  • Financial Services, Banking, Capital Markets, or Risk Management.
  • Regulatory reporting, risk reporting, or data governance initiatives.
  • Modern cloud/data platforms such as Azure, Databricks, Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, or Snowflake.
  • Data quality controls and reporting governance best practices.
