The Infrastructure Data Center IDC- DCQE (Data Center Quality Engineering) team works to ensure the global Data Centers receive best in class products from suppliers by driving continuous improvements to the manufacturing quality of electrical, mechanical, robotics, and fiber data center products. The team also supports the collaboration engineering and connectivity programs. To accomplish these tasks, the team build and implement world class quality practices and processes to reduce risk and eliminate equipment quality disruptions.
The role
This is a support role in the IDC- DCQE (Data Center Quality Engineering) organization. The ideal candidate is organized and comfortable working with team members across multiple organizations. The role requires the candidate to be a self-starter, and be able to work independently. The candidate will be responsible for the end to end operational aspect of coordinating supplier audits for the team across regions, working with cross functional teams to gain insights on future activities that may affect resourcing, and conducting data analysis to identify data gaps, trends, etc. The candidate must be comfortable managing verbal and written communications at multiple levels.
Collecting data for weekly reports: responsible for collecting data from various sources and compiling it into weekly reports that provide updates on the progress of the program. This includes tracking milestones, identifying risks and issues, and highlighting areas where corrective action may be required.
Duties
Manage the end-to-end process and operations for Supplier Audits to ensure quality engineers are allocated appropriately and activities are prioritized per business needs
Lead weekly planning sessions to ensure alignment amongst internal team members
Manage single source of truth data set to demonstrate
Develop weekly updates on Supplier Audits' performance
Analyze Quality Events related data to identify process and operational gaps and/or areas of opportunity
Improve existing processes to support Quality Events
Manage the end-to-end Supplier Visitation Requests by aligning internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner
Work with internal partners to troubleshoot system tooling issues
Develop written and/or recorded training materials leveraging stakeholder experience.
Routine reporting and forecasting resource requirements based on planned activities.
Skills
Masters Degree or 1+ year of experience in a program coordination or manager role
Well versed in project management techniques
Advanced Excel Skills/Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)–or equivalent, to manage data analysis of large data sets
Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint to develop training materials and presentations to leadership
Detail oriented. Ability to decipher significant amounts of data and understand interactions between global build schedules and local forecasting.
Others
Comfortable working and learning new software systems
Experience working with Tableau data visualization
Familiarity with Agile PLM or equivalent information management systems (e.g. ERP, CRM).
