Title:  Operations Coordinator
Location: Santa Monica, CA 90404
Duration: Contract to Hire 
Compensation: $29-$36.90
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US

  • Hybrid, 3 days onsite 2 days remote

The Role: 

  • The operations coordinator will be joining a fast-paced team helping to coordinate projects across the team and working cross-functionally.
  • Soft skills such as strong communication skills, strong organization skills, and attention to detail are necessary to be successful in this role.
  • This person will assist with onboarding, offboarding, organization of team data, event planning, process management, coordination of team initiatives, invoice processing, inventory management, and other tasks, on site at our HQ location. 
  • They will get to be involved with nearly every area of the studio’s business and need to be able to work quickly and accurately to meet the needs of our team across the different projects that we touch.
  • They will need to be organized and understand how to tailor the right type of communication and skill sets to different situations to find the best solutions to different types of problems
  • Critical thinking is a must, as operations handles a variety of unique situations
  • They should be resourceful, self-motivated, and committed to delivering excellent, reliable results. They should be open-minded, flexible, collaborative, and possesses strong emotional intelligence.

Profile

  •  2-5 of experience coordinating projects in a corporate environment ideal
  • General understanding of project management fundamentals (e.g. scheduling, tracking, reporting)
  • Project Coordination: Ability to plan, execute, and assist within operational projects effectively
  • Process Improvement: able to identify inefficiencies and optimize processes at basic level or participate in such processes as a team
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Experience with a variety of project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Monday)
  • Organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Participating in on-site resource allocation, set up for events, and in person support for our studio team members
  • Documentation and Process Mapping: Ability to maintain accurate documentation
  •  Ability to consistently deliver well-organized, concise updates and reports as needed
  • Good enough isn’t; a passionate advocate for excellence
  • Positive attitude and collaborative in nature

Soft skills are a must, especially:
