Senior Financial Analyst
Partnered with our client in Toronto and seeking a very strong Senior Financial Analyst. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The position reports directly to the Director of Finance and provides reporting support to the CFO and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform and maintain year-end, quarter-end, and month-end financial analysis
• Compile and maintain monthly reporting packages detailing key KPIs for leadership, board members, and ownership groups
• Assist in preparation of monthly leadership and board reporting materials
• Support quarterly board presentations, annual budget presentations, and additional executive-level reporting as needed
• Assist with annual budgeting, trailing twelve-month forecasts, and additional FP&A initiatives
• Prepare financial information for supplementary reports and presentations
• Collect, organize, and present information for strategic analysis purposes
• Build and maintain financial models and templates for valuation of organic projects and corporate finance activities
• File required Statistics Canada surveys
• Provide analytical support and recommendations based on financial data and reporting
Requirements
• 5–12 years of relevant financial analysis and accounting experience
• University or college degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with accounting and financial software systems
• OneStream experience preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
