Description:

  • A Lead Technical Project Manager (TPM) within the Technology Studio is responsible for ensuring customer needs from other Studios are addressed by the products and platforms developed by the Tech Studio. They strive to align goals, budgets and timelines between Tech Studio product teams and the projects run by the receiving Studios to ensure efficient and satisfactory product delivery. The TPM will work to achieve the strategic vision of the Tech Studio by engaging with stakeholders, supporting product and project roadmap planning, and providing coaching and support to Tech Studio teams. This role will provide TPM support for Production Technology teams. This role will be in person four days a week in Glendale, CA.
  • Ideal candidates must be highly proactive, detail-oriented, and able to autonomously work on multiple assignments that may span the department. They must be capable of digging into technical details and clearly communicating schedules, risks, status, and processes to a variety of business and technical audiences. They must be able to partner closely with project managers, product managers, and technical leads to coordinate schedules and deliverables.

Basic Qualification:

  • Experience managing Product teams and projects such as server room management and software licensing, procurement, and operations
  • Senior project management experience of technical teams using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Education and/or Experience in Technology or Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing servers for VFX Rendering
  • Experience managing up to Director and VP-level management

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent work experience
