Title: Project Manager III (RMA)
Location: Bellevue, WA (onsite)
Duration: 6+ month contract
Compensation: $55 – 62.00/hr. W2
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

We are looking for a Project Manager to own the end-to-end RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) front-end process for our ground network infrastructure. This role is responsible for driving execution across detection, validation, vendor coordination, spare/replacement logistics, and post-repair flows. You will operate at the intersection of multiple engineering, operations, and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full RMA front-end lifecycle from initial failure detection through replacement execution and post-FSL return flows
  • Drive alignment across Site Installation and external vendors who each own discrete steps in the process
  • Deep dive independently into tickets, cases, trackers, and vendor portals to identify blockers, gaps, and process breakdowns without waiting to be asked
  • Hold stakeholders accountable to SLAs at each handoff point including vendor RMA number creation, tracker submissions, and replacement execution timelines
  • Identify and escalate stuck items, whether that is a missing RMA number, an incomplete ticket, or a stalled case, and drive resolution
  • Maintain and enforce the RACI model across all eight process steps, ensuring each team executes to the agreed operating standard
  • Track and report on cycle time from failure detection through replacement execution and vendor repair return, surfacing trends and recommending improvements
  • Manage vendor relationships for RMA coordination, following up on repair timelines and ensuring defective units are returned and restocked
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, templates, and process documentation to ensure consistency across regions (AMEA, APAC, EMEA)
  • Run regular cadences with cross-functional stakeholders to review open RMAs, address blockers, and drive continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project or program management experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, or hardware lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated ability to independently deep dive into data, systems, and processes to find root causes and drive solutions
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders who have competing priorities and a track record of getting alignment when there is pushback
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Smartsheet (or equivalent) to support project/program management activities, track deliverables and milestones, and manage end-to-end RMA workflows.
  • Proven ability to hold teams accountable and deliver measurable results in environments with ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with RMA, reverse logistics, or hardware repair coordination
  • Familiarity with ground network infrastructure, satellite communications, or telecom equipment (TT&C, BUCs, antennas)
  • Experience working with external hardware vendors on warranty and repair processes
  • Background in managing multi-region operations with distributed teams
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Experience with ticketing systems and tracking tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document processes clearly and escalate effectively
