Client: National Solutions Integrator 
Location: Based out of Dallas, TX (DFW Metroplex area)
Duration: Contract To Hire
Pay Rate: $40 to $50 hourly 
 
Manager Notes / Please Read: 

• Service work in Dallas, some traveling.

• Will eventually be a PM

• Company vehicle will be provided 3-4 weeks after starting

• Candidates must have a reliable personal vehicle for travel to job sites.

• Mileage is reimbursed at $0.71 per mile, and drive time is paid at your hourly rate.

• Mileage and drive-time compensation begin after the first 30 miles and 30 minutes of travel.

• This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. After 720 hours worked, employees convert to full-time status and are provided with a company vehicle.

• Work will primarily involve service and maintenance projects at Walmart locations, with occasional work at Amazon and Starbucks facilities.

• All hotel accommodations are arranged and paid for by my client.

• Employees receive a non-taxable per diem of $45 per day ($315 per week) for meals and incidental expenses while traveling.

Traveling Electrical Technician

Job Description:
Inspect and test electrical components to diagnose problems, repair broken electrical components, and install updates for outdated electrical systems.
Troubleshoot electrical problems and install new wiring or other components to fix lighting, fuse boxes, and generators.
Oversee training for co-workers as needed.
Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet project deadlines and daily deliverables (i.e. pictures, signed checklists, As-Built, etc.).
Resolve conflict while maintaining positive relationships at all levels.
Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed electrical systems and component devices are operational.
Ensure electrical systems meet local, county, state, or federal codes; legal and/or insurance requirements.
Adhere to all required project safety requirements as set forth by Wachter, our customers, or OSHA.
Perform any other duties not specifically stated herein, but which your supervisor may assign.
Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician at the state level is a major plus.
Experience as a Lead or Forman electrician.
Experience as a Commercial and/or Industrial Electrician.
Flexible and willing to work on-call, day, night, weekend, or overtime shifts as the job requires.
Ability to read blueprints and comprehend SOW documents.
Has basic hand tools and PPE.
