Job Title: Senior Project Delivery Consultant
Location: Horsham, PA
Salary: Between $135 to $188,000 + annual bonus
Work Authorization: Eligible to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship. (Either now or in the future)
Role Overview
- Position: Senior Project Delivery Consultant – Sustainable Infrastructure
- Function:
- Business development–focused role
- Works closely with Sales Executives + Engineering team
- Responsible for developing and helping sell energy and infrastructure projects
2. Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and help close projects involving:
- HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, insulation
- Lighting upgrades, roofs, boilers, chillers
- Solar PV, fuel cells, battery storage
- Conduct site visits, assess buildings, and identify opportunities
- Develop solutions, scope, and pricing (with contractors)
- Partner with sales to present to clients and stakeholders (including councils/boards)
- Lead or heavily influence project development and sales strategy
- Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
3. Candidate Profile
Required Experience:
- ~10+ years preferred
- Strong background in building construction (not heavy civil/highway)
- Exposure to:
- HVAC, electrical, mechanical systems
- Energy efficiency or energy conservation (preferred)
Ideal Background:
- Design-build experience (highly preferred)
- Experience in business development or client-facing roles
- Ability to develop solutions—not just execute pre-defined plans
- Comfortable pushing back on design decisions based on cost/feasibility
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Client-facing confidence
- Team-oriented leadership mindset
- Long-term career interest (not short-term role)
4. Project Scope & Work Details
- Project sizes: $1M – $100M+
- Candidate may manage:
- Portfolio of $100M–$200M
- Multiple projects in various stages
- Sales cycle:
- ~6 months to 3 years (avg. 12–18 months)
- After sale:
- Transition to execution team
- Remains involved for knowledge-sharing but not delivery oversight
5. Travel & Work Model
- Travel: 20–30%
- Eastern half of PA, New Jersey, Delaware
- Work setup:
- Mix of client sites, office, and remote work
