Software Engineer V

The AI Transformation Engineer will design, build, and deploy AI-powered tools, dashboards, agents, and automated workflows to improve operational efficiency across hardware compliance, packaging engineering, sustainability, certification, and technical program management teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build an interactive multi-page dashboard showing country expansion timelines, discipline-specific lead times, prerequisites, and decision deadlines.
• Partner with program and compliance leads to understand use cases, business priorities, and problem statements.
• Design scalable data models supporting multiple hardware programs and compliance disciplines, including safety, packaging design, logistics, materials regulatory compliance, product certification, and wireless certification.
• Create data input mechanisms for teams to update status, timelines, and project information.
• Identify, scope, and build AI-powered tools and automations to support packaging, sustainability, compliance, certification, biocompatibility, materials regulatory compliance, and technical program management functions.
• Develop agentic AI workflows to automate repetitive processes and reduce manual effort.
• Build internal dashboards, reporting tools, and alerting systems that improve visibility and accelerate decision-making.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate operational pain points into technical solutions.
• Document solutions, create training materials, and enable handoff to permanent team members for long-term sustainability.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or software technical program management with hands-on coding.
• Demonstrated proficiency building applications using Python, SQL, and modern web frameworks.
• Proven experience working with AI/ML tools in a production environment, including deploying real solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
• Experience designing and building dashboards, data visualizations, or interactive web applications.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and system integration.
• Ability to independently scope, architect, and deliver technical projects end-to-end with minimal oversight.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and gather requirements from diverse functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background building agentic AI systems, LLM-powered workflows, or AI automation pipelines.
• Experience with Google Workspace APIs, including Docs, Sheets, Chat, or Apps Script.
• Familiarity with hardware product development processes, compliance workflows, or certification programs.
• Experience with data migration, system integration, or enterprise tool development.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance, product certification, or supply chain operations in consumer electronics.
• Prior contingent worker or consulting experience at a large technology or consumer electronics company.
• Experience building AI tools using platforms such as Claude/Anthropic, with a portfolio or website showcasing previous work.
• Program management or AI software TPM experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong engineering capabilities.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong AI engineering capabilities, including experience building agentic workflows and AI architecture beyond basic prompt engineering.
• Operational focus and awareness, with the ability to understand process flows and build tools that address real business pain points.
• Ability to be self-directed and work independently from project briefs, starting points, and high-level requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
