Title: Technical Program Manager I
As a Technical Program Manager I, you will drive the execution of complex hardware and silicon development programs from early-stage planning through high-volume manufacturing. You will coordinate cross-functional engineering teams, manage vendor relationships, track milestones and risks, and ensure key decisions and dependencies are clearly communicated across internal and external stakeholders. This role also requires strong change management skills, along with experience supporting retail repair and maintenance programs, supply fulfillment, warehousing operations, and vendor management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate technical program execution for hardware and silicon-related programs from early development through high-volume manufacturing.
- Manage cross-functional alignment across engineering, test, packaging, sourcing, operations, supply chain, retail repair, maintenance, and product teams.
- Translate high-level vendor milestones into detailed schedules with clear task ownership, timelines, and dependencies.
- Run recurring meetings, program reviews, and working sessions with internal teams and external vendor partners.
- Track program decisions, risks, dependencies, action items, and key deliverables to ensure timely execution.
- Maintain integrated program schedules that align internal milestones with external vendor commitments.
- Drive external vendors to execute against specified technical, operational, repair, maintenance, warehousing, fulfillment, and supply requirements.
- Support change management efforts across cross-functional programs, ensuring process changes are clearly communicated, adopted, and tracked through execution.
- Partner with retail repair, maintenance, supply fulfillment, and warehousing teams to manage program deliverables, vendor performance, and operational readiness.
- Surface risks, gaps, and misalignments early and drive mitigation plans with clear owners and resolution dates.
- Maintain program trackers, milestone readouts, decision logs, and risk registers across internal and external workstreams.
- Prepare status updates, risk summaries, and leadership readouts for engineering, operations, sourcing, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support execution across development and operational phases, including prototype, qualification, validation, supply readiness, fulfillment, repair, maintenance, and mass production.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or equivalent project management experience in a hardware, operations, supply chain, retail repair, maintenance, or silicon development environment.
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Supply Chain, Operations, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate execution across multiple engineering, operations, supply chain, vendor, repair, maintenance, warehousing, or fulfillment teams.
- Experience translating high-level commitments into actionable schedules with assigned owners and target dates.
- Experience working with external vendors, contract manufacturers, repair vendors, warehousing partners, fulfillment partners, foundries, or silicon partners.
- Experience supporting change management initiatives across cross-functional programs or operational environments.
- Exposure to hardware development, supply fulfillment, warehousing, retail repair, maintenance, prototype, qualification, validation, or mass production phases.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting program status and risks to engineering, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive decisions using incomplete information.
- Ability to follow through on action items across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments with shifting requirements and tight launch timelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting semiconductor, hardware, retail repair, maintenance, supply fulfillment, or warehousing programs.
- Experience managing vendor relationships across repair, maintenance, fulfillment, warehousing, manufacturing, or technical supply chain environments.
- Familiarity with display silicon, uLED, microLED, consumer devices, retail operations, repair operations, or related hardware technologies.
- Experience managing programs involving multiple external vendors.
- Experience working across time zones with international vendor, fulfillment, repair, warehousing, foundry, OSAT, or supplier partners.
- Working knowledge of program tracking and milestone reporting tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Experience translating engineering, operations, supply chain, and vendor status into concise briefings for sourcing, operations, engineering, and leadership teams.
- Experience supporting consumer device programs from prototype validation through supply readiness, fulfillment, repair, maintenance, or mass production.
