We are seeking an experienced Credit Global Process Owner to provide fixed-term coverage for an established global finance operations function. This role is responsible for maintaining operational continuity across the end-to-end credit process, ensuring strong process performance, risk management, financial controls, and stakeholder alignment.
The position requires deep expertise in financial credit, credit risk, collections, revenue operations, and global process ownership. The ideal candidate will be able to step into an existing function quickly, manage day-to-day credit operations, support ongoing automation and AI-enabled finance initiatives, and partner effectively with internal teams and external BPO providers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own and manage the end-to-end global credit process, including customer onboarding, credit application review, credit assessment, credit limit management, account maintenance, collections, and dispute resolution.
- Maintain and operate existing credit processes to ensure they remain effective, efficient, controlled, compliant, and aligned with global standards.
- Oversee credit lifecycle activities, including new credit applications, credit line increase requests, account updates, case management, and dispute-related processes.
- Ensure credit processes support revenue growth while maintaining appropriate risk controls across global regions.
- Support in-flight AI, automation, and intelligent workflow initiatives within credit and collections operations.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Finance Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Automation teams to support the deployment and ongoing operation of AI-enabled finance solutions.
- Maintain and refine existing AI agent procedures, workflow documentation, and domain processes to ensure accuracy, effectiveness, and control compliance.
- Monitor automated workflow performance, identify issues, and escalate risks related to controls, compliance, or operational effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to established credit risk frameworks, credit scoring models, credit limit methodologies, portfolio risk monitoring, and enterprise risk guidelines.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with audit requirements, SOX controls, and regulatory standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for credit process-related questions and escalations.
- Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Sales, Finance Business Partners, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure credit processes support business objectives.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with BPO and outsourced operations partners supporting credit and collections activities.
- Review process performance reporting, investigate performance changes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in financial credit, credit risk management, collections, revenue operations, or related finance operations roles.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end credit management processes, including credit assessment, credit limit setting, portfolio management, collections, dispute resolution, and account maintenance.
- Experience operating within financial controls, SOX compliance, audit requirements, and risk management frameworks.
- Familiarity with AI, automation, RPA, intelligent workflows, or technology-enabled finance operations.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Product, Engineering, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Sales teams.
- Experience managing or partnering with BPO, outsourced operations, Shared Services, or Global Business Services teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions, monitor performance, and identify process improvements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships quickly and operate effectively in an established function.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in technology, digital platforms, advertising, SaaS, fintech, or high-growth environments with complex, high-volume credit operations.
- Exposure to AI agents, agentic workflows, intelligent automation, or AI-enabled financial operations, especially in credit decisioning, risk scoring, or collections.
- Experience with credit scoring models, financial risk analytics, predictive modeling, or portfolio risk monitoring.
- Knowledge of global billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, and credit operations across multiple regions, currencies, or business units.
- Experience with process mining, RPA, workflow automation, or intelligent automation platforms.
- Professional certifications in credit management or risk management, such as CICM, FCI, FRM, or PRM.
- Prior experience in interim, fixed-term, cover, or contingent worker roles requiring fast onboarding and immediate operational impact.
- Experience working in a Shared Services, Global Business Services, or outsourced operations model.
