Title: Creative Project Manager

Location: Burlingame, CA , New York, NY , or Seattle, WA (Hybrid) 

Duration: 6 months, likely extensions up to 6 months 

Compensation: $50 – 60/hr

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Creative Project Manager to support a centralized creative audio organization. This role is responsible for bringing structure, efficiency, and optimization to the audio production process while managing projects from concept through completion.

The ideal candidate has strong project management experience, exceptional organizational skills, and outstanding attention to detail. This position combines audio production pipeline management, cross-functional project leadership, executive presentation development, and workflow optimization. Experience with Figma is required.

Candidates should be comfortable collaborating closely with creative teams, product teams, and external vendors in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, track, and support multiple projects and initiatives across internal and cross-functional teams.
• Adapt communication style to effectively collaborate with teams across multiple disciplines.
• Partner with Sound Designers to manage all phases of audio design, production, implementation, deployment, and ongoing quality control.
• Develop high-quality visual presentations that communicate creative concepts, project updates, and strategic narratives to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain organized asset management systems, naming conventions, and version control for creative files.
• Improve production pipelines by creating and utilizing AI agents, workflows, and automation.
• Drive projects to completion, including process improvements, training initiatives, and onboarding programs.
• Assist with the construction and refinement of production pipelines and operational processes.
• Prepare, edit, and maintain project plans, documentation, presentations, and related materials.
• Execute effectively in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in creative production within a software development environment.
• Proven experience leading complex projects from initiation through completion.
• Proficiency with macOS and productivity tools including Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong experience creating presentation decks in Figma.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies and workflows.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience using project management platforms such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar.
• Ability to work independently while supporting multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience facilitating standups or managing small teams (5–10 people).
• Experience creating reports and visualizing data using Google Sheets, dashboards, Tableau, or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating AI tools to improve or redesign workflows.
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt engineering, context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid or remote environment.
• Experience with AR/VR technologies or mobile application development.
• Familiarity with audio production workflows and audio production software.
• Ability to translate broad concepts into actionable deliverables for AI-driven behaviors and interactions.
