Title: Cloud Firewall Engineer
Location: Vienna, VA (REMOTE)
Duration: Initial 6-month contract with possible extensions
Compensation: $70/hour – $84/hour
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
 
Cloud Firewall Engineer
Required Qualifications:

• Firewall engineer experience in managing Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls in an IaaS environment
• Expertise is managing security policies and NAT policies in Checkpoint and Palo Alto
• Knowledgeable in managing virtual machine scale sets
• Understanding of strict change management policies

Desired Qualificiations:

• Experience in collapsing two or more firewalls into one
• Has conducted a migration of Checkpoint Firewalls to Palo Alto firewalls in Azure
• Experience with leveraging Strata Cloud Manager to manage a large number of firewalls
• Experience in using python and ansible to automate routine tasks
