Summary

• Purchasing materials and equipment from suppliers including electro-mechanical assemblies, electronic components, PCB assemblies, hardware, and non-inventory items.
• Managing supplier relationships and KPIs reported to senior Supply Chain leadership
• Providing input to monthly scorecards and presenting procurement data during quarterly business reviews.
• Planning material requirements, managing inventory levels, managing schedules in our ERP system, and successfully communicating these requirements to our suppliers.
• Identifying supply chain material risks and providing transparent monitoring of material flow.
• Working collaboratively with Planning to communicate supply chain risks and mitigation strategies to the end users.
• Developing efficient and accurate mechanisms for monitoring and updating open purchase orders, expedites, and delivery requirements.
• Assisting the Global Commodity Management team with maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring supplier performance, addressing supply issues, and developing new products and programs.
• Resolving PO receiving errors and assisting with invoice reconciliation.
• Managing supplier returns including non-conformance reports, return material authorizations, and processing MRB material.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and leading a cross-functional group to execute improvements.
   

Must-Have Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Buyer/in direct Procurement (owning supplier relationships, programs, and sizeable component portfolios rather than transactional/assistant coordinator scope).
• Proven proficiency in ERP systems for purchase order execution, rescheduling, and supply/demand tracking.
• Intermediate to strong Excel skills (specifically creating and manipulating Pivot Tables, data lookups).

 
Nice-to-Have Skills

• SQL querying / experience with Tableau
• Supply Chain / Business / Industrial Engineering degree or APICS / Six Sigma certifications
• Experience leading supplier reviews and performance management calls independently
• Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Humanities)
