Title: Sr Principal Program Manager

We are looking for a Sr Principal Program Manager to lead multiple complex, fast-paced technical initiatives across distributed teams. This role will oversee end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, risk management, stakeholder communication, Agile facilitation, technical documentation, and executive reporting. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience managing technical programs within cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, or engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead multiple concurrent technical initiatives throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, scope, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery timelines.

  • Facilitate Agile/Scrum/Kanban ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Manage project backlogs using Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally, or similar tools.

  • Gather and document requirements from technical and business stakeholders.

  • Develop clear user stories and testable acceptance criteria.

  • Manage the intake-to-delivery process across technical workstreams.

  • Produce recurring project status reports and executive-ready summaries covering progress, budget, risks, resources, issues, and change requests.

  • Identify project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including runbooks, SOPs, process documentation, architecture-related documentation, and knowledge base content.

  • Define role-based training requirements and develop or maintain supporting training materials.

  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Use data and analytics to monitor project performance, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making.

  • Lead, coach, and mentor geographically distributed teams while promoting continuous improvement and effective collaboration.

Required Qualifications:

  • 11+ years of experience in technical project management, program management, delivery management, or a related technical role.

  • 5+ years of experience managing technical initiatives supporting cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, or engineering teams.

  • Strong hands-on experience facilitating Agile, Scrum, or Kanban delivery ceremonies.

  • Experience managing technical backlogs using Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally, or equivalent tools.

  • Demonstrated experience gathering requirements and translating them into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

  • Experience managing multiple concurrent technical workstreams.

  • Strong experience with project planning, scope management, budgeting, milestone tracking, risk management, and issue resolution.

  • Experience producing executive-level project status reporting and leadership communications.

  • Hands-on experience creating technical documentation such as runbooks, SOPs, process documentation, or knowledge base materials.

  • Experience developing or maintaining technical training materials.

  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, estimating, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with geographically distributed technical and business teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PSM, PMI-ACP, or similar certification.

  • Experience with cybersecurity technologies or concepts such as PKI/certificate lifecycle management, SIEM/security analytics, or endpoint platforms.

  • Experience with DevOps methodologies, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment.

  • Familiarity with cloud, web, client/server, mainframe, or other enterprise computing environments.

  • Experience with NIST cybersecurity or risk management frameworks.

  • Experience with vendor or third-party risk management tools such as OneTrust.

  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, or similar reporting and collaboration platforms.

  • Exposure to aviation, operational technology (OT), cyber-physical systems, or embedded systems.

  • Familiarity with aviation security standards such as DO-326A, DO-355A, or ATA Spec 42.

  • Experience using AI-enabled tools such as Copilot, Claude, or similar platforms to support documentation, requirements development, or reporting.

  • Background in technical writing, instructional design, or training development.
