Collision Systems Administrator – CCC ONE or Mitchell

Location: 100% Remote – United States
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $75,000–$95,000 annually
Contract Pay Range: $38–$45/hour W-2, depending on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Collision Systems Administrator to support enterprise-level collision repair technology platforms, with a primary focus on CCC ONE and Mitchell.

This role will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, support, and optimization of collision repair systems used across a large, multi-location automotive organization.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working within the collision repair industry and understands CCC ONE and/or Mitchell beyond the end-user level. This individual should understand how these platforms support estimating, repair operations, insurance/carrier workflows, shop processes, and broader business operations.

The primary objective of this role is to establish dedicated platform administration capabilities and allow Business Analysts and other technology resources to focus on business analysis, system enhancements, integrations, and the development of new capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administration and operational support for CCC ONE and/or Mitchell collision repair platforms.

  • Configure and maintain system settings, user access, permissions, organizational structures, workflows, and other administrative functions.

  • Manage system updates, configuration changes, and ongoing platform maintenance.

  • Troubleshoot user and system issues and coordinate resolution with internal technology teams and software vendors when necessary.

  • Support new locations, acquisitions, organizational changes, and other business initiatives requiring CCC ONE or Mitchell configuration.

  • Partner with collision operations, Business Analysts, IT, and other stakeholders to understand system needs and translate them into appropriate platform configurations.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, changes, and administrative procedures.

  • Assist with testing system enhancements, releases, integrations, and configuration changes.

  • Identify recurring issues and opportunities to standardize, automate, or improve administrative processes.

  • Support reporting, data validation, and system-related operational requests.

  • Serve as a subject matter resource for CCC ONE and/or Mitchell functionality.

  • Help separate routine platform administration from Business Analyst responsibilities, allowing BA resources to focus on strategic initiatives and development of new capabilities.

  • Ensure system administration aligns with established business processes, security requirements, and insurance/carrier requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience within the automotive collision repair industry.

  • Hands-on experience with CCC ONE and/or Mitchell.

  • Experience administering, configuring, supporting, or maintaining collision repair technology platforms rather than solely using them as an estimator or end user.

  • Strong understanding of collision repair workflows and how technology supports the repair lifecycle.

  • Familiarity with estimating, repair orders, production workflows, insurance/carrier requirements, and shop operations.

  • Experience troubleshooting system issues and supporting users in a multi-location environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage configuration changes accurately.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a 100% remote environment while collaborating with business and technology teams.

Highly Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct administration experience with both CCC ONE and Mitchell.

  • Experience supporting a large MSO (multi-shop operator) or enterprise collision repair organization.

  • Experience administering CCC ONE across multiple locations.

  • Experience supporting acquisitions, new shop implementations, location onboarding, or system conversions.

  • Knowledge of carrier/DRP requirements and collision insurance workflows.

  • Experience working alongside Business Analysts, Product, Operations Technology, or IT teams.

  • Experience with additional collision technology platforms such as Audatex or related automotive repair systems.

  • Experience with system integrations, data validation, testing, reporting, or process improvement.

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and structured change-management processes.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The strongest candidate will likely have grown up professionally within the collision repair industry and developed deep expertise in the systems behind the operation.

This may be someone who started as an estimator, repair planner, shop systems specialist, operations technology specialist, or CCC ONE/Mitchell power user and progressed into responsibility for configuring and supporting the platforms across multiple shops.

We are specifically looking for someone who understands how the systems work behind the scenes, not simply someone who knows how to write an estimate in CCC ONE.

Experience supporting CCC ONE or Mitchell across a large MSO, insurance organization, collision technology provider, or multi-location repair operation would be particularly valuable.

Work Environment

This is a 100% remote position within the United States. The successful candidate must be comfortable supporting a distributed, multi-location organization and collaborating virtually with Technology, Product, Business Analysis, and collision operations teams.
