Title: Engineer- Cloud Security
 

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to help lead and execute cybersecurity initiatives across cloud and enterprise environments. This role will work closely with senior leadership, project managers, and key stakeholders to align security programs with business objectives, strengthen security operations, and ensure successful delivery of cybersecurity projects.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience in cloud security, Kubernetes, scripting, security operations, and incident response, along with the ability to communicate risks, strategies, and security performance to technical and executive audiences.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead and support cybersecurity projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

• Design and implement cloud security solutions, architectures, and security controls.

• Develop and maintain security strategies, governance frameworks, and operational standards.

• Oversee and improve Security Operations Center (SOC) processes, tools, technologies, and threat monitoring capabilities.

• Design and execute advanced threat detection and incident response processes.

• Identify, communicate, and manage cybersecurity risks, issues, and remediation strategies.

• Provide security performance, compliance, risk, and KPI reporting to leadership and stakeholders.

• Develop secure communication protocols to protect sensitive information and maintain system integrity.

• Support the integration of physical security controls with cybersecurity practices.

• Coordinate technical resources, project activities, risks, and deliverables.

• Mentor cybersecurity professionals and promote continuous technical development and operational improvement.

• Ensure alignment with applicable cybersecurity standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with Cloud Security.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.

• Strong scripting experience.

• Experience with security engineering, threat detection, incident response, and security operations.

• Ability to communicate technical risks and security strategies to senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Strong project coordination, risk management, and cybersecurity governance experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.

• Experience designing and implementing cloud security solutions and architectures.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Experience with cloud-native security controls and enterprise security architecture.

• Familiarity with regulatory and security frameworks such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.

• Experience supporting or overseeing SOC operations.

• Experience mentoring cybersecurity professionals or leading technical security teams.

• Advanced degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Experience in highly regulated or complex enterprise environments.
