Job Title: General Accounting Coordinator
Location: Doral, FL (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ months contract (long-term contract)
Rate: $24 – $26/hr
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
General Accounting Coordinator
We are seeking a dedicated accounting professional with at least two years of finance or accounting experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, reliability, and a desire for long-term stability. This individual should be self-motivated and flexible with working hours, particularly during month-end close.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable Management: Manage receivables-related activities, including account master maintenance, credit checks, credit line and security management, and receivable matching. Perform all responsibilities in accordance with established processes.
- Fixed Assets Management: Manage fixed asset accounting activities, including asset acquisition, transfers, sales, disposals, depreciation, and inventory management. Determine whether expenditures should be classified as operating expenses or capital expenditures based on investment plans.
- Accounts Payable Management: Follow established payment standards and processes. Manage contracts, verify details, and prepare payments in accordance with company guidelines.
- Revenue, Expenditure, and Departmental Expense Management: Process departmental operating expenses, including MyFinance expenditures related to employee recognition and condolences, business travel, transportation, overseas travel, and advances. Perform daily closing procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications
- At least two years of relevant finance or accounting experience
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Intermediate Excel proficiency
- Flexibility during month-end closing periods
- AA or BA degree required
