The Pricing Specialist will support specialized logistics operations by developing competitive pricing strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate, cost-effective pricing across complex project cargo and multi-modal shipments. This role partners cross-functionally to drive profitability while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage spot pricing requests and RFP/RFQ proposals for air, ocean (FCL/LCL), and multi-modal shipments

• Negotiate rates with carriers, vendors, and international agents to secure competitive pricing

• Maintain and improve rate sheets, pricing tools, and internal databases

• Support pricing strategies for heavy haul, project cargo, and complex logistics movements

• Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Procurement to align pricing with business objectives

• Analyze cost structures and ensure pricing accuracy and profitability

• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Contribute to process improvements and pricing efficiencies

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain pricing

• Experience with international freight, project cargo, or heavy haul preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with pricing tools or financial modeling

• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics platforms

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field preferred

We are seeking a Pricing Specialist who will play a key role in developing and executing competitive pricing strategies that support our specialized logistics operations and long-term customer relationships. You'll handle pricing requests with autonomy, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and ensure our pricing remains accurate, cost-effective, and aligned with the high service standards our clients expect in complex project cargo environments.
This position demands strong critical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive approach. You'll manage high-priority tasks, contribute to process improvements, and help drive pricing initiatives that enhance profitability while delivering outstanding customer value.
Key Responsibilities

• Handle spot requests and RFP/RFQ proposals for air, FCL, and LCL shipments, with emphasis on supporting heavy haul, project logistics, and multi-modal solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, ocean carriers, airlines, trucking companies, and overseas agents to negotiate favorable rates and service terms.
• Oversee and continuously improve internal rate sheets, pricing tools, and reference databases to ensure accuracy and usability.
• Negotiate competitive rates while balancing cost, service reliability, and the unique requirements of oversized and project cargo movements.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and project teams to align pricing with service capabilities and financial goals.
• Take ownership of tasks, ensure timely delivery, and support workflow continuity across the team in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field (required); an advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CLP, CSCP) is a plus.
• 2–5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain pricing, ideally with exposure to project cargo, heavy haul, or international freight.
• Proven experience leading pricing initiatives, managing vendor relationships, and contributing to cross-functional strategies.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across teams.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with pricing tools or financial modeling.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics platforms.
• Solid understanding of global logistics processes, cost structures, and supply chain methodologies, particularly in project and heavy cargo movements.
